Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has dismissed judge of the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv Natalya Volokitina and judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district court of Odesa Taisiya Matyash for breaking the oath.

This was reported by the press service of the President.

It was established that in January 2014 judge Volokitina deliberately committed a violation of the law during the proceeding against the activist of the Revolution of Dignity and had remanded him in custody,” the statement reads.

The High Council of Justice found that in 2012-2013 Taisiya Matyash “delivered biased and unlawful judgments, which led to the improper disposal of assets, in particular belonging to the state”.

As reported, on Thursday, Petro Poroshenko also dismissed judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv Oksana Tsarevych for breaking the oath in delivering judgments against Euromaidan activists.

Also, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a resolution on dismissal of 29 more judges.
