“The city of Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka hromadas in the Nikopol District, came under attack. Infrastructure facilities, houses, and cars were damaged. Three people were injured. A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition. Another 16-year-old and a 21-year-old man are receiving outpatient treatment,”  Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, said. In total, Russian forces attacked three districts of the oblast nearly 30 times over the day.

Another teenager suffered severe wounds in the Sumy Oblast: his family had previously evacuated from the hromada, a local government area that includes one or more nearby settlements, but returned to plant a garden. The boy was caught in a Russian strike while out on the street.

To provide background, over the course of May 11, Russian strikes across Ukraine claimed the lives of four civilians.
