The Myrotvorets (The Peacemaker) website, which publishes the personal data of “separatists”, has made public the information about the journalists who have got accredited in the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic.”

It contains the personal data of journalists working for BBC, Reuters, AFP, The Independent, Ceska televize, CNN, Bloomberg, Aljazeera, AP, Liberation, ITAR-TASS, RT and other media.

The authors released the names of journalists, the media outlets they work for, their positions, countries of origin, cell phones, e-mail addresses and dates of stay in the territory not controlled by the Government of Ukraine.

The description says that the list of the accredited journalists has been maintained by the illegal armed groups.

According to Anton Herashchenko, the Ukrainian MP from the People’s Front Party faction, the Ukrainian activists hacked a number of webpages of the illegal armed groups in Donetsk region.

More than 7 terabytes of internal documents of the banana republics were downloaded. All the information was submitted for the analysis and use in the work of the Ukrainian Security Service, Interior Ministry and other relevant Ukrainian agencies,” the MP posted on Facebook on May 10 thus announcing the disclosure of journalists’ personal data on The Peacemaker website.

As a reminder, shortly before ex-MP Oleh Kalashnikov and journalist Oles Buzyna were murdered, their personal data had appeared on The Peacemaker website. The resource suspected them in promoting separatism and foreign aggression in Ukraine by their articles.

Earlier, Ukrainian human rights activists and Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeria Lutkovska criticized the resource for unlawful interference with the individual’s right to privacy.
