“Molotov cocktail” was thrown in the synagogue in Lviv

In Lviv, unknown people threw “Molotov cocktail” in the synagogue on the Brativ Mikhnovs’kykh Street, 4.

As reported by the BBC Ukraine referring to the city police.

The incident occurred on June 30 at night. An unknown man threw a “Molotov cocktail” over the fence in the synagogue window.

The police noted that the flame went out by itself.

According to Adele Dianova, Director of the All-Ukrainian Jewish charitable foundation Hesed-Arieh, another “act of vandalism against the Jewish heritage was committed in the city – insulting inscription was written in the synagogue, which is located on the Vuhilna Street, 3”.

Deputy Mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko has already condemned the incidents.

“Lviv has always been, is and will be a tolerant city”, – the official said.
