The Kyiv Court of Appeal released Ihor Radchenko, the ex-commander of Aidar batallion company, on bail of three MPs.

I’ve seen him in action, I have maintained contact with him over past two years, so now I’m here… I am convinced that the person must be at large and prove his innocence. However, if he is guilty, let him be responsible for it,” said MP from the Radical Party Andriy Artemenko, one of MPs who wanted to bail Radchenko.

As the suspect’s lawyer stated, his wife is on maternity leave now, all the children are underage, so they need his support.

The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine accuses Radchenko of robberies, looting, stealing cars, involvement in criminal groups and other crimes.

June 1, the Prosecutor General’s Office served notices of suspicion against two volunteer soldiers of Aidar battalion Valentyn Likholit and Ihor Radchenko over a number of serious and especially serious crimes.

Maria Tomak, the journalist of the Centre for Civil Liberties, outlined in her investigative article the evidences of involvement of Radchenko in the armed attack on the Accent TV and radio company, abduction and controversial death of his subordinate, which was recognized to be a suicide.
