Ukraine has evidence that Russia intends to attack three nuclear power plants ahead of winter.

This statement was made by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

“Now, as we near the third winter of this war, Russia is once again trying to destroy our energy system. And this fall, they are being even more cynical: they are preparing to target our nuclear power plants. Three of them. We have this information, and we have proof of this. If Russia is ready to go that far, it means nothing that you value matters to Moscow. This kind of Russian cynicism will keep striking if it is given any room in the world,” Zelenskyy said.

The President noted that Ukraine’s Peace Formula aims to protect the UN Charter. He has also invited China and Brazil to the second Peace Summit, while India has already been invited.

Zelenskyy reminded the international community that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin has violated a vast number of rules and regulations, and he is not going to stop.

Earlier, Ukraine called for international action on the revision of safety rules to protect nuclear power plants.
