Russian shelling on April 23, 2026, killed seven civilians in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kherson regions, and another 24 were injured, including in the Kharkiv Oblast
Russian judge charged over illegal sentencing of Ukrainian POW
The actions of the Russian judge were qualified under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "War crimes". He was notified of suspicion in absentia. The sanction of the corresponding article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years.
