The Shevchenkivskyi Court of Kyiv ordered the Security Service of Ukraine to open a criminal case to investigate an offensive on the main building of the “Inter” channel as a terrorism act, a court order states, informs “Channel 5”.

“The court satisfied the appeal of the limited liability company “National information systems”, – stated in the order.

The court ordered the Security Service to open a criminal case under the сlaim of “Inter” TV channel, which was sent to the Security Service on September 12.

The decision also states that the channel appealed to the Security Service to open the criminal proceedings under Article 258 of the Criminal Code (a terrorist act).

On September 4, the fire started inside the TV Channel “Inter”. The National Police of Kyiv considers an intentional arson one of the main reasons of the fire. Before the fire started, there was a protest near the building against the pro-Russian content of the channel.

Earlier, Ukrainian experts said that they believe channel board, Ukrainian authorities and law enforcement bodies are responsible for the incident.

However, the investigation also considers the version of a self-arson.
