Ukrainian Paralympians ranked third in medal table

Ukrainian athletes won 12 medals (six gold, three silver, and one bronze) on the fourth day of the Paralympic Games in Rio on September 11, Crimea.Realities reports.

The Paralympics champions became swimmers Denys Dubrov, Oleksiy Fedin and Yelyzaveta Merezhko, table tennis master Natalia Kosmina, Roman Polanski, who is competing in the rowing, and Leila Adzhametova, who won the women’s 100m race.

Ukrainians are still ranked third in the medal table. The national team of Ukraine has already won 49 medals – 18 gold, 13 silver, and 18 bronze.

Chinese team tops the medal table of the Paralympics 2016 with 92 medals (39–30–23) and the UK ranks the second with 56 medals (23–14–19).

 Ukraine is followed by the US team, which have got 39 awards (13-15-11).
