Unknown masked people detained Belyal Adilov, a Crimean Tatar activist, near the Kremlin-controlled Supreme Court of Crimea, where Adilov read a prayer for the release of the defendants of the “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case.
As reported by reporter of the Human Rights Information Centre.
According to him, Adilov was dragged into a minivan and taken away to an undisclosed location.
One of the witnesses started filming the unfolding events, but his phone was knocked out from his hands.
Later, the activist called his daughter and reporter that he was in the Crimean department of the Investigative Committee of Russia and asked her to bring his passport.
Later it became known that Adilov was persistently invited to the Investigative Committee by phone, but he refused to come without a summons.
“Adilov, a public activist, came as a listener to the court hearings. He, along with other public activists, was present during the searches in the suburbs of Simferopol”, – as Crimean lawyer Emil Kurbedinov has wrote on his Facebook page.
