Polozov added that Savchenko intended to go on “dry” hunger strike after the sentence would be delivered.

Earlier, the prosecutors asked to extend the Savchenko’s custodial term until April 16, 2016. They gave the judges a certificate stating that the health condition of Savchenko was satisfactory and she could be further held in custody. Savchenko said she had not been examined.

Savchenko had already gone a hunger strike earlier.
