President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko waits for the report of the law enforcement agencies on the investigation into the Maidan events already this week.

As the press service of the Presidential Administration reports, the President said this in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels.

He said he was waiting for the results of the investigation into the beating of students on November 30, bullying of journalists and public activists on the Bankova Street on December 1, the organization of storm of Maidan on December 11, the events in the Mariinsky Park on February 18, and the main thing – the murder of activists.

I have no doubt that the investigation over every Maidan victim should be conducted and those responsible for the killings should be brought to justice. I and you have the right to know,” Poroshenko said.

He noted that he was not satisfied with the report on those prosecuted.

Poroshenko demands to prosecute judges, who delivered unlawful judgments against Maidan activists. According to the President, their dismissal was hampered by the Supreme Council of Justice, formed by the previous rule.

The President also noted the need to sentence in absentia former president Viktor Yanukovych and former Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, who are now hiding in Russia.

Everybody knows the main answer – the criminal responsibility rests with Yanukovych and Zakharchenko – there is evidence that they gave the orders,” he added.

Poroshenko stressed that the public should know each killer of the Heavenly Hundred.

As a reminder, earlier this month, Vitaliy Titych, member of the Attorney’s Advisory Group, involved in the investigation into the Maidan events, said he was concerned about the message of the President of Ukraine on the fact that the cases over Maidan events should be submitted to courts before the second anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.

He recalled that only the prosecutor could make decision about the readiness of the criminal proceeding materials to be submitted to the court.
