The Constitutional Commission of Ukraine approved the draft on October 30, 2015. November 9, the National Council of Reforms recommended that President submitted the reforms to the Parliament and that the Parliament considered the draft in the first reading within the current session.

The President asked the MPs to study carefully the document and consider it in the shortest possible time in accordance with the procedure. The President expects to get the amendments before winter.

The President’s press service notes that the changes should improve the constitutional basis of justice to exercise the rule of law and guarantee the right to fair trial by independent and impartial court within reasonable time.
