Militants torture serviceman to death – Tandyt
The pro-Russian militants continue torturing Ukrainian captives.
Adviser to the chairman of the Ukraine’s Security Service Yuri Tandyt said this on the air of Ukraine’s Channel 5.
“Unfortunately, our guys are tortured there [in captivity]. On Friday, Roman Kapatsiy, the father of six children, died. When we discussed the release of Roman with one of the negotiators, she mentioned he had had injuries and stab wounds. He was tortured. The militants continue torturing the captives,” Yuri Tandyt said.
As Tandyt noted, according to the Ukraine’s Security Service, 131 Ukrainian servicemen and civilians are currently held captive by the militants. Some of them have been transferred exported to Russia.
As reported, the militants blocked the deal to exchange seriously wounded Volodymyr Zh.
