Ukraine to file lawsuit over aggression in Donbas with ECHR in autumn
Ukraine is going to file a lawsuit against the Russian Federation over military conflict in Donbas with the European Court of Human Rights in autumn.
This was stated by First Deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine Natalia Sevostyanova, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports.
“Another one, the sixth, lawsuit against Russia concerns the events in Donbas… Now we are preparing a complaint, which will cover 2015-2016. We are likely to submit it in autumn,” she said.
She explained that the Justice Ministry separated the files for claims on time periods.
“The ECHR highlights: Do not unite everything in one application as it is very difficult to work then,” the official added.
As reported, the European Court of Human Rights started to consider the complaint filed by PJSC “Feodosia shipbuilding company “More” (Sea) about violation of the company’s rights as a result of the illegal nationalization of its assets in Crimea.
