“In 2015, the Federal Supervision Agency for Information Technologies and Communications initiated the development of an automated system of control in the field of mass communications. The system can already process the materials of 7,000 electronic periodicals and online media in a constant regime. The search for violations is based on detection of certain combinations of specific words allowing to select at the first stage of analysis only those media materials, which potentially contain signs of violations,” reads the report.
According to the document, “the automated control system in the field of mass communications in the territory of the Russian Federation is planned to be launched by the end of 2016.”
