Two more Crimean Tatars were forcibly placed in psychiatric hospital of Simferopol
The authorities of occupied Crimea have placed Eider Saledinov and Rustem Ismailov, the defendants in the “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case, in a psychiatric hospital for forced psychiatric examination.
As reported by Crimea.SOS, this was stated by Ismailov’s wife Fatma on her Facebook page.
“Today, on February 22, my husband Rustem Ismailov and Guzal’s husband – Eider Saledinov are being placed in psychiatric hospital at Rozy Liuksemburh Street, Simferopol. We regard these actions of security forces as use of punitive medicine”, – said Fatma Ismailov.
Eider Saledinov and Rustem Ismailov are defendants in the Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case.
On October 12 FSB officers have conducted searches in the houses of five Muslim families. After the searches five Crimean Tatars were detained. Rustem Ismailov, Uzeyir Abdullayev, Teymur Abdullayev, Emil Dzhemadenov, Eider Salediov were detained.
On January 12 of this year, Zevri Abseitov, the defendant in the “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case, was also placed in a psychiatric hospital for examination.
Crimean FSB accuses them of involvement in the organization “Hizb ut-Tahrir”, which is recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation.
Russia’s Supreme Court banned “Hizb ut-Tahir” in 2003 and included it in the list of terrorist organizations.
Representatives of the International Islamic political organization “Hizb ut-Tahir” called its mission to unite all Muslim countries into an Islamic caliphate. However they reject all kinds of terroristic methods to achieve their goals and believe their organization to be unfairly subjected to persecution in Russia.
