According to Kordon.Media news outlet, on the night of December 20, in the Krasnopillia area of the Sumy Oblast, Russian troops entered the border village of Hrabovske, located directly on the border line.

Kordon.Media journalists claim that there were civilian residents in the village who had previously signed refusals to evacuate. As Kordon.Media learned, this concerns slightly more than fifty citizens of Ukraine who were taken to the territory of the Russian Federation to conduct so-called “filtration measures.”

The Red Cross, White Angels, and government representatives evacuated people, but this was 1/4 of the residents who were there; the others, despite warnings about the situation, remained.

The source of the Ukrainska Pravda news outlet in military circles said taht assault attempts on the border sector of the Sumy Oblast in the area of Hrabovske have been ongoing for several days. The enemy is being repelled and has been unable to advance deeper.
