Russia officially suspended the activities of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people for “carrying out extremist activities.”

This is posted on the website of the Justice Ministry.

“April 18, 2016, the civil association “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people” was put on the list of civil and religious associations, whose activities are suspended because of carrying out extremist activity,” reads the statement.

The regime of Putin, who occupied Crimea, took another step, having reduced the mental distance between him and the regime of Hitler, which sentenced individual nations of the occupied European to annihilation,” Chairman of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov posted on Facebook.

As a reminder, Russian-controlled Crimean prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya filed the lawsuit to ban the Mejlis on February 15 this year.
