All five jurors, participating in court hearing in the case of shootings during Euromaidan protests, filed the motion requesting for their own disqualification with the Sviatoshynsky District Court in Kyiv.

These applications were read out by presiding judge Serhiy Diachuk, the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper reports.

In their statements they complain about the inadequate financial support and much work.

In particular, they claim they are paid UAH 70 for one court hearing before taxes.

The parties so far agreed to postpone the hearing until May 27 to settle the situation.

The trial of shootings on Maidan passes to consideration of the case on merits. The disqualification of the jury may lead to delays in consideration.

If the new jury is elected, it will be delayed for 2-3 months,” prosecutor Janis Simonov said.

As reported, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine identified another two officers of the Berkut riot police force, involved in shooting Euromaidan activists in Kyiv downtown on February 20, 2014.
