Butenko asserts that 82% of students can now study “safely” thanks to shelters of various levels of protection.
“Currently, 82% of students, if we are talking about schools, can be covered by different types of shelters. These are shelters of various designs, sometimes the simplest shelters, sometimes large open spaces,” the minister said.
As for underground schools, in addition to the more than 100 currently operating, another 131 facilities are currently under construction. Six billion hryvnias have been allocated for this.
Earlier, ZMINA reported that the second underground kindergarten in Ukraine, designed to accommodate 278 people, is being built in Kharkiv Oblast.
