Odious judge of Euromaidan activists is intending to work in Supreme Council of Justice – lawyer
Olena Pervushyna, a judge of the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv, who persecuted Euromaidan activists, is planning to become a member of the Supreme Council of Justice (SCJ).
As reported by Roman Maselko, the lawyer of “Automaidan” on his Facebook page.
He said that two judges of Holosiivkyi court, who were earlier dismissed by President Petro Poroshenko for violation of the oath, – Larisa Kalinichenko and Maxim Frolov came to the meeting of Holosiivskyi court and voted for Pervushyna as a delegate to the Congress of judges.
“It is very likely that Olena Pervushyna is going to the Supreme Council of Justice and it is very necessary for her to be a delegate and have support at the Congress of judges, which on March 14-15 will choose members of the SCJ. For this she even resigned her position as chairman of the court. Apparently, she already has a guarantee if she decided to take this step”, – wrote Maselko.
As reported by Vitaliy Shabunin, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, on his Facebook page, Pervushyna would not have received the necessary amount of votes for the nomination without the votes of Frolov and Kalinichenko.
“Pervushyna wants to break into the Council of Justice – a more profitable place. And to get there judges of Holosiivkyi District Court have to delegate her. But they don’t want to! And two votes of dissatisfied judges, who became Pervushyna’s puppets, are very appropriate here. Without their votes Pervushyna would not have gathered the necessary number of votes”, – he said.
According to Shabunin, Pervushyna is so assured that she will be a member of the SCJ that last week she resigned from her post as the Head of Holosiivskyi District Court, which she occupied for 10 years.
As a reminder, on February 24, 2016, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on dismissal of Larisa Kalinichenko, a judge of the Holosiivkyi District Court, for violation of oath. However, the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine ruled the judge as not guilty and dismissal as unlawful.
On November 24, 2016, on the Pervushyna’s complaint Prosecutor’s Office has conducted a searchs of Automaidan activist Mykola Sydorkin. According to Pervushyna’s complaint activists allegedly tried to apply “psychological pressure” on her and judges.
Later Roman Maselko reported that the search of Sydorkin’s apartment is related to his participation in Prosud project, which investigated the declaration of Pervushyna. The judge has not declared her apartments and cars, but activists have noticed that Pervushyna has a house and a car to use. Sydorkin participated in this investigation.
