Decision “allowed” to enter the houses of people, who have left the occupied territories
In the occupied area of Luhansk region, which is controlled by Russia-backed illegal militias, representatives of “MES” and public utilities were allowed to intrude into the houses of people, who left the areas of the Luhansk region.
As reported by the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group (KHRPG) with reference to the corresponding decision of the “deputies of the People’s Council” an illegal militia of the Luhansk region. This decision was adopted in September 2016.
According to a survey of events on the uncontrolled territories, on September 16 a “law” was adopted, which allows to enter into the house without the owner’s permission. It was explained as the need for employees of “MES” and public utilities to put in order the apartments, whose owners and tenants are not on the territory controlled by illegal militias of Luhansk, before the start of cold season. As well as the need to fix the damages, which hinder the provision of utility services to other residents.
In addition, it was reported that after the adoption of this “law” militants were planning to register the mechanisms of intruding into houses – namely, “which houses will be intruded and what measures will be taken to secure the houses”.
It was earlier reported that an illegal militia of Donetsk is going to seize the houses of “enemies of the people”.
