The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tykhyy, criticized the social network X, owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, for labeling publications about the deaths of Ukrainian children from Russian shelling as “shocking content,” accusing the platform of silencing Russian war crimes.

“For real, X? Since when is the number of Ukrainian kids killed by Russia considered “graphic content?” This isn’t preventing users from exposure to graphic content. This is sweeping Russian war crimes under the rug. This is shameful and must be reversed,” Tykhyy wrote.

Tykhyy illustrated the situation with a screenshot showing how the social network hid a post from the official account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The hidden post contained only statistical data – information about at least 616 Ukrainian children killed by Russia and 1,869 injured since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
