Members of European Parliament advocate for Crimean political prisoners
On the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People, Members of the European Parliament issued a demand to the Russian Federation for the immediate release of Crimean political prisoners, specifically naming Server Mustafayev, Iryna Danylovych, and Osman Arifmemetov. Relevant statements were published on the social media platform “X” on May 18.

The repressions continue: Iryna Danylovych, 46, a human rights defender, was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.
