Lutsenko in Hague listed the number of convictions in Maidan cases
In Maidan cases, 45 people have been already convicted, 152 are on trial and 190 are under the pre-trial investigation. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko said on the “Freedom of Speech” TV program from the Hague, informs Ukrinform.
“An incredible work has been done – 152 people are on trial with charges from the prosecution, 35 people were condemned and 190 are under suspicion. The preliminary investigations continue,” he said, commenting the widespread opinion that no one has been convicted in Maidan cases.
Simultaneously, he agreed that those “who were giving orders were not convicted.”
“Yes, murders are on trial, but those who gave them the weapon, who ordered to kill peaceful citizens, are hiding in Moscow,” the Prosecutor General said
