Ihor Lutsenko, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, stated that General Prosecutor’s Office is not seeking those who abducted him and killed the activist Yuri Verbytsky during Euromaidan, but instead just simulates the investigation of these crimes.

Ihor Lutsenko, who was injured during Euromaidan, informed this during the briefing with Ukraine Crisis Media Center.

According to him, Department of Special Investigations of the General Prosecutor’s Office directed him to the hearing of Pechersk District Court on the indictment act against Paschenko and Hizanov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers, on the number of crimes committed by them. This is referring to the forgery and violation of the privacy of telephone conversations.

The document of the General Prosecutor’s Office states that unknown persons gave the instructions to falsify the reports, based on which lawsuit was filed, and same person gave the permission to listen the telephone conversations of Ihor Lutsenko and Yuri Verbytsky. This information was used by titushky to locate the activists and abduct them.

However, Lutsenko does not consider himself to be the victim of these accused, but others are not searched for.

“I don’t consider myself to be the victim of the actions of the accused Paschenko and Hasanov because they did not cause any physical or moral damage. They are not involved in the abduction, the maximum of their guilt is neglect of duty. All that will happen in the court is deception, imitation of the investigation by the GPO officers. Accusation of these outsiders and ignoring the ones who actually passed data about me to the kidnappers is just creating a visibility that the case seems to be successfully investigated,” – said Lutsenko.

In addition he informed that the trial of said accused will take place on December 20th at 1 pm.
