Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Committee for Human Rights Hryhoriy Nemyria is outraged by absence of Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko and other ministers at the enlarged committee meeting, which considers implementation of recommendations of the parliamentary hearings on observance of the rights of IDPs.

This is reported by the Human Rights Information Centre correspondent.

I am outraged that Minister Rozenko and other ministers are not present at the enlarged meeting. The Cabinet meetings, which they referred to as the reason for their absence, occur regularly, and the enlarged meetings of the Committee are exceptional,” he said.

The MP described it as disrespect not for MPs, but for more than 1.8 million internally displaced persons.

As Human Rights Information Centre correspondent, Rozenko did not come to such a meeting for the second time.
