Russian strikes on Kharkiv Oblast kill 1,wound 3 women
The Kharkiv Oblast Police reported that Russian strikes on the Kharkiv Oblast on August 10, 2025, killed one man and wounded three women. Another man was injured after stepping on an explosive device and was taken to a hospital.
“Russian forces attacked the settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi around noon Sunday. A 62-year-old man was killed, and two women were injured in the attack. Around 1:10 p.m., the occupiers launched an attack drone on the settlement of Kozacha Lopan. A local woman, born in 1957, sustained blast injuries. She was taken to a hospital for medical treatment,” the statement reads.l
A 64-year-old man stepped on an unidentified explosive device in Kupiansk. Medics took him to a medical facility in Kharkiv for treatment.

The Air Force of Ukraine reported that Russian forces conducted a large-scale strike on Ukraine Friday night into Saturday, launching 100 attack UAVs of the Shahed type, along with various types of decoy drones. Seventy of them were destroyed by air defence. Russian forces launched the drones from Russian territory (Shatalovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk) and from temporarily occupied Crimea (Hvardiiske).
30 UAVs struck 12 settlements in the frontline areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts. Debris from downed drones also fell in three other locations.
