Russians have intensified filtration measures among teenagers in the occupied territories of Ukraine, with the reason – restoring law and order and preventing crime”.
This was reported by the National Resistance Centre (NRC).
According to the centre, this year alone, 263 minors have been registered by the Russians in the occupied Donetsk region, 16 of whom are considered “extremists”.
“We are talking primarily about children with pro-Ukrainian views. Such Ukrainians are sent for compulsory examination or even treatment in psychiatric institutions“, the NRC said in a statement.
The centre added that the Russians continue not only to force pro-Ukrainian locals out of the occupied territories, but also to severely persecute them.
Earlier, ZMINA reported that Russians and their accomplices are actively involving children and young people in the occupied Donetsk region in “patriotic events”. In particular, to the celebration of the Russia national flag day.
In total, this year the occupiers have planned about 35 “festive events with the assistance of youth organisations in the region”.
