The book “#Krymnash” [“Crimea is ours”] about non-compliance of decision on annexation of the peninsula with the Russian legislation was presented in Moscow.

As UNIAN Ukrainian news agency reports, the presenter, Russian political expert Stanislav Belkovsky, said that the book contains legal, political and moral arguments in favor of the fact that annexation of Crimea had been unjust and unfair.

The author of the book, Russian lawyer Olena Lukyanova, stated that due diligence of the issue of “accession” of Crimea had shown disregard for Russian laws.

The expert examination of the issue of Crimea showed that the legal procedures had been repeatedly violated,” she said.

According to her, at least eight different violations were made when approving the decision on the annexation of Crimea, but basically everything comes down to verification of the circumstances of the agreement “on the accession of Crimea to Russia” by the Constitutional Court.

The expert believes that the document was poorly examined with regard to the procedure for signing and compliance with the international treaties and the Constitution.

In addition, according to co-author of the book Yevgenii Ikhlov, after the serious analysis of the circumstances of the annexation of Crimea is carried out, it will be established that the Parliament of Crimea took the decision to secede from Ukraine under occupation of the peninsula by the Russian special forces, and the decision to send troops to Ukraine was approved by the Federation Council on the basis of false information.

As a reminder, leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev compared the occupation of Crimea to the Anschluss of Austria and added that the voting turnout on the so-called Crimean “referendum” had been less than 35% while the Crimean Tatars had boycotted it.
