Court sees no violations in Cabinet’s order on IDPs
The court of the first instance has refused to recognize illegal the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on IDP certificate (No. 79 dated March 4, 2015).
Human Rights Regional Center expert Serhiy Zayats posted this on Facebook page.
According to him, the court sees no violations in the fact that the internally displaced persons are forced to undergo the humiliating check of place of residence. While all the citizens do not need to confirm their residential address to be registered, the IDPs are forced to allow the State Migration Service employees to come into their homes.
As a reminder, the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 79 introduced the new rules for registration of place of residence for IDPs and receipt of an IDP certificate.
The human rights activists have repeatedly criticized the order, paying attention to the fact that it is discriminatory.
