Two children injured in artillery attack on Marinka

August 10, two children were injured as a result of militants’ artillery attack on Marinka, Donetsk region.

This is reported by the press service of the National Police department in Donetsk region.

 “8-year-old and 13-year-old children got shrapnel wounds as a shell slammed into a private house. They were taken to the hospital in Kurakhovo city,” the statement reads.

Terrorists opened fire at about 17:00. The shell hit the roof of the private house and the fragments shredded a room. At that moment, the children were at home, playing in a room of the house.

The police arrived on the scene of the artillery attack.

The information about destructions and victims is being specified.

Also last night, three houses were damaged by the terrorists’ shells in Marinka.
