Kyiv Botanical Garden opens exhibition ‘Garden of fragrances’ for visually impaired people

The Kyiv National Botanical Garden has opened the exhibition “Garden of Fragrances” so that visually impaired people could feel the whole palette of fragrances.

This is reported by Channel 24.

All plants and flowers are very fragrant. The smell varies depending on time of day and season. The people with visual impairments will also be able to touch the plants.

This garden has been cultivated for about three years. One and a half hectares of land have collected hundreds of varieties of aromatic plants, including mint, sage, lavender, and perfume roses. Over UAH 20,000 were spent on the garden.

The garden employees say that the composition will become one of the largest in Europe.

The exhibition will run until the first frosts.
