Pass through “Marinka” checkpoint is blocked by two-days shelling

Due to the militants’ shellings on Tuesday and Friday, “Marinka” checkpoint stopped its operation. 

“Operations on the “Marinka” checkpoint are suspended. Terrorists started firing single shots from 7.62 mm firearms,” State Border Service informs in Twitter. 

On Tuesday, the militants shoot at the checkpoint with the small arms. 

“Yesterday, illegal armed groups again fired at “Marinka”. They opened fire at 15:30,” State Border Service reported. 

“In order to save lives and we suspend all operations on the checkpoint,” it added. 

On Friday morning, the biggest number of vehicles to cross the border line was on this checkpoint.
