Tandit said the new number of hostages in the Donbass
110 people are held hostage on the uncontrolled territory of Ukraine.
According to Interfax-Ukraine this was stated today by Yuriy Tandit, adviser of the chief of the Security Service of Ukraine, during the broadcast of “Inter” TV channel.
“According to the Security Service, hostages are considered to be 110 people who are illegally detained in Donetsk and Lugansk. In addition, ten of our heroes kept illegally on the territory of Russian Federation, there is no difference, there is only procedure. And when somebody tries to reduce these numbers, we say that those are the lives of our people”, – said Tandit.
He informed that soon Ukraine will hand over 15 hostages from the list which was provided by the representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk districts.
On December 5, adviser Yuriy Tandit reported that according to the official data of the Ukrainian side there are 108 people kept in captivity by militants. While militants said that there are only 50 hostages.
