On the night of March 1, unknown persons have set fire to the door of the “Institute of National Remembrance” in Kyiv.

As reported by Volodymyr Viatrovych, the head of the institute, on his Facebook page.

“During the night, unknown people have set the door of “Institute of National Remembrance” on fire. They haven’t left “their mark” this time”, – he said.

“We will not be intimidated”, – added Viatrovych.

As a reminder, on February 16, the doors of the “Institute of National Remembrance” were splashed with paint, then the labels saying “Slovyanska varta” (Slavic guard) were left near the entrance.

On the same day there was an attempt to attack Viatrovych near the building of “Ukrinform” information agency.

Andriy Kryschenko, the Chief of the National Police of Kyiv, reported that police has detained three people for the attempt to attack Viatrovych.
