The Constitutional Commission of Ukraine has provided for the assessment of all Ukrainian judges in the draft constitutional amendments regarding the judicial reform.

This is reported by the “Ukrayinska Pravda” (Ukrainian Truth) Ukrainian media outlet with reference to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

The Commission has provided for the assessment of position competence for each judge. If a judge does not meet the criteria of competence, ethics, and good faith, he or she should be dismissed,” the document says.

The document also states that in case of reorganization or liquidation of some courts, the judges of these courts have the right to submit the letter of resignation or apply for another position through the competition.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko promised that the immunity abolition would start from the judges.
