In Crimea vandals desecrated the Crimean Tatar cemetery
On Monday of April 17, unknown persons committed an act of vandalism in the Crimean Tatar (Muslim) cemetery in the Baherove village in Kerch. Vandals sprayed paint on the gravestones and destroyed fences.
As reported by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
The organization notes that this is not the only case of vandalism in the occupied Crimea. The cases of desecration of memorials dedicated to the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people, which are placed throughout the Crimea, have increased after the occupation. In addition, last year vandals desecrated a memorial in Sevastopol dedicated to Turkish soldiers who died during the Crimean War.
