Ukrainian side within the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the issues related to the ceasefire regime and the stabilization of the situation states that the so-called “mass media outlets” in the “LPR” spread about the poisonous substances allegedly being kept in the storage facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Luhansk region.

As reported by the press center of the ATO with reference to the statement of the JCCC.

“Yes, on April 17, a statement of the Colonel Andriy Marochko, representative of the People’s Militia of the ORLO (Certain areas of Luhansk region), titled “the UAF keep poisonous substances in the Stanytsia-Luhanska district – the People’s Militia” was published on the Lugansk Media Centre website”, – reported the centre.

They stressed that the information provided does not correspond to reality, since the government signed the UN Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction on January 13, 1993, and strictly adheres to it.

“Ukraine, unlike the Russian Federation and its assistants represented by the illegal armed groups of the ORDLO (Certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions), fully fulfilled these obligations”, noted in the JCCC.
