Ukrainian soldiers document Russian drone strike that killed three evacuating civilians
Soldiers of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces documented the killing of three civilians and an animal by Russian troops.

“Soldiers of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade documented another war crime: a Russian FPV drone strike on civilians travelling on a motor tiller between the settlements of Zahryzove and Bohuslavka in Kharkiv Oblast. The people were trying to evacuate from the combat area, but at that moment, Russian forces deliberately attacked them with a drone,” the statement reads.
The brigade highlighted that the attack was intentional and targeted individuals who posed no military threat.
Three civilians and an animal were killed. No military targets or dual-use infrastructure existed in the strike zone.
“This episode is further proof that Russian forces use methods of warfare incompatible with the principles of law, morality, and humanity, turning occupation practices into a policy of deliberate terror,” the brigade stated.

For reference, similar Russian crimes have occurred in the past. For instance, in early November in the Kharkiv Oblast, Russian military personnel also shot and killed two civilians and their dog who were trying to move to a safer area.
