Ukraine condemns Iranian strikes against Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated on X that Ukraine expresses solidarity with Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE and condemns Iran’s strikes.
Ukraine expresses solidarity with Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE amidst Iran’s “reckless attacks” against these countries.
“For every Ukrainian, seeing deadly “Shahed” drones hitting residential buildings immediately recalls the scenes we see in our own cities. The Iranian regime proves time and again its criminal policy of violence, terror, and aggression inside and outside their country. This must end,” Sybiha stated.
To provide background, on February 28, the United States, along with Israel, carried out strikes on Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States has launched a military campaign in Iran.
In response, Iran launched attacks throughout the Middle East. Apparent Iranian strikes have been reported in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait — places with US military bases, or that are allied to the US, BBC News reported.
More than 200 people have been killed across Iran, the Red Crescent reported.
Trump says Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed by US-Israeli strikes on Tehran. Iranian authorities deny that claim.
