Savchenko ‘feels fine’ – Russian public committee’s chairman

Leonid Petrashyn, Chairman of the Public Monitoring Committee of Rostov region, Russia, claims that Nadiya Savchenko, who is on hunger strike now, feels fine.

TASS Russian news agency reports this.

Yes, she is on hunger strike. She drinks only water, which she buys in an institution’s kiosk. She feels fine, she has no problems, no complaints, she stays in the same cell. She does not seem to lose many kilos, no particular changes are visible. She is not fed by force,” he said, referring to representatives of the human rights organizations who visited Savchenko.

As reported, MP of Ukraine and delegate to PACE Nadiya Savchenko announced she would go on a hunger strike on December 17. She said she would not stop it till the end of the trial.
