About ten searches taking place in Crimea today – lawyer
The occupation authorities in Crimea carry out about ten searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars today.
Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov said this in a commentary to Crimea.Realities portal.
According to him, the searches are now taking place in Bakhchisaray district (Viktorovka village), Nyzhnegorsk and Dzhankoy (Perepelkin village) districts of Crimea.
“The exact number of searches is not yet known, they are still going on, we check the information, but I can already say that at least a dozen searches are conducted across Crimea in the houses of the Crimean Tatars, the Crimean Muslims,” the lawyer said.
Currently, there are no comments of the Russian law enforcement authorities of Crimea concerning new searches on the peninsula.
Yesterday, the FSB officers conducted massive searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars. It is known that security forces conducted at least eight searches and detained at least nine people (according to other sources – 14).
