Judge who deprives Automaidan activists of driving licenses now tried in Kyiv
The Kyiv Court of Appeal has started consideration of the case against judge Lysenko of the Kyivo-Sviatoshynsky Court, who deprived more than ten Automaidan activists of driving licenses for six months on the basis of forged documents.
Roman Maselko, the lawyer of Automaidan activists, wrote this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the court immediately rescheduled the hearing for September 12.
“We will re-examine all the evidence. Everything has been investigated in the court, but judge Dyachuk of the Sviatoshynsky Court decided that judge Lysenko was innocent,” Maselko wrote.
He recalled that judge Lysenko deprived more than ten Automaidan activists of driving licenses for six months on the basis of forged documents for their trips to the residence of former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych amid Euromaidan protests.
“After the hearing, Lysenko personally told me that he had to deliver such a judgment, because, otherwise, money would be planted on him and he would be jailed,” the lawyer added.
