‘DPR’ imposes first death penalty – media

The representatives of the “DPR” illegal armed formations have imposed the first death penalty.

This is reported by the Russian media.

“As of today, one such penalty has been already imposed. There are cases pending consideration, and they also provide for such measure of punishment. These are cases over murder and espionage,” the reporters quote so-called “representative of the DPR military tribunal” Liudmila Strateychuk as saying.

“As of now, the military tribunal has already considered two criminal proceedings. Both defendants are the ‘DPR’ servicemen. Other 46 cases are pending consideration,” she noted.

As a reminder, the human rights activists earlier stated that the militants tortured the captives with inquisitorial methods.

The Helsinki Human Rights Union reported that the “DPR/LPR” militants practiced executions.
