People with family ties in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are massively detained in the DPR – military intelligence
In the occupied territories the so-called “security agencies” of the DPR illegal armed groups in the recent days are massively detaining citizens with family ties in the Ukrainian army.
As reported by the press service of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Counter-intelligence regime has been reinforced in the occupied territories and is accompanied by large scale detentions of citizens, as well as searches of people, among local population, with families with family ties with commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Searches are conducted by the so-called Ministry of State Security (MGB) of the DPR”, – said in a statement.
It is also noted that the management of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is using the structures of the so-called Almighty Don Host as cover for sending Russian military in the Donbas.
Intelligence officers noted that such practice makes it possible to hide the affiliation of Russian military instructors and advisers, who are in the military formations of the so-called DPR/LPR, to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and to pass them off as “volunteers of the Cossack units”.
