Two civilians killed, more than 30 wounded in latest Russian strikes in Ukraine

On September 26, 2025, two civilians were killed in Russian attacks in Donetsk and Kherson Oblasts. In addition, nine civilians were wounded in Donetsk, 12 in Kherson, five in Dnipropetrovsk, and six in Kharkiv Oblasts, according to the heads of the Donetsk, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regional military administrations.

According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Russians killed one civilian in Kostyantynivka over the past day. Nine more people were wounded: five in Kostyantynivka, two in Druzhkivka, and one each in Serhiivka and Siversk.

 According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Olexandr Prokudin, 32 settlements in the region and the city of Kherson came under enemy drone attacks, air strikes, and artillery shelling on September 26.

“One person was killed and 12 others were wounded in the wake of Russian aggression,” he wrote on social media.

Russian troops struck critical and social infrastructure and residential areas in the region. There is significant damage.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, five civilians were injured in Russian attacks on Nikopol. Among the wounded are women aged 86, 76, 71, and 62, who are receiving outpatient treatment.

In the Pokrovsk hromada – a local government area that includes one or more nearby settlements – in the Synelnykivskyi District, an 88-year-old man was wounded by a drone strike.

Throughout the day, the enemy attacked the region with artillery and launched drones. The communities of Nikopol, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivsk suffered damage. Civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.

Six people were also injured in attacks on the Kharkiv region over the past day.

“Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and seven settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes. Six people were injured as a result of the shelling,” said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast State Administration.

According to him, two 48-year-old women, a 40-year-old woman, and a 63-year-old woman were injured in Kharkiv due to Russian attacks. Another 59-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman were injured in the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz in the Vovchanska hromada.

The official said the enemy attacked the Kyiv District of Kharkiv with drones, dropped six KABs on the Kharkiv region, and launched drones: one Geran-2, two Lancet, two Molniya, three FPV drones, and three drones of an unknown type.

The official added that Russian aggression in the cities of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and the Kupiansk, Izium, and Chuhuiv Districts has damaged civilian infrastructure.

As a reminder, on the night of September 27, the Russian army attacked Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. In the Vinnytsia region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged, and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman was injured.
