The Equality March will take place in Kyiv in mid-June
KyivPride 2025, the largest annual event for Ukraine’s LGBTQ+ community, is set to take place in the first two weeks of June in Kyiv. Event organisers plan to host a charity festival, KyivPride Park, and the traditional march, as announced on the KyivPride Facebook page.

KyivPride will be held under the motto “Unity in Diversity,” which is the official motto of the European Union.
The event program includes:
June 7: The charity festival KyivPride Park will take place at the KYT cultural space at the Expocenter of Ukraine (VDNH). Guests can expect lectures, workshops, photo exhibitions, a fair of Ukrainian brands, a tattoo zone, live music, and a community space. Admission is free with prior registration.
June 14: The KyivPride March, a key human rights action. This year, organisers aim to attract more participants. The march’s location is not yet being disclosed for security reasons.
“This year, we are once again heading to the heart of the capital to declare: we are here, we are close, we fight, we volunteer, we work, we love – and we have the right to be protected and equal,” the organisers stated.
The publication reports that this year there will be two separate registration forms – one for Ukrainians and another for international participants.
In December 2024, a group of unknown individuals attacked the venue where a lecture on LGBTQ+ topics, organised by the KyivPride public organisation, was being held. The event ultimately had to be cancelled.
