In the occupied Crimea, the Russian Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea is considering the appeal against the “case of February 26” in a videoconference regime without Ali Asanov, Mustafa Degermendzhi and Ahtem Chiygoz.

The defendants are protesting against this decision, their lawyers write the complaint, said Chairman of the Kurultai’s central election commission Zair Smedlyaev, the Center for Investigative Journalism reports.

However, the court decided that the hearing would take place without the personal presence of the detainees.

The appellate instance considers the complaint about the ruling of judge Galina Redko who extended the custodial terms of Ahtem Chiygoz, Ali Asanov and Mustafa Degirmendzhi till 24 April 2016 without the judicial procedure.
